Alright, so I haven't been good over the last month at regular updates... but it's been a crazy month. Covering an air-shift-and-a-half daily, plus the regular music gig gets a little crazy. But enough of the excuses and on with the fricking music, eh?!If you like urban and reggae and you haven't already picked up the new Nas and Damian Marley album Distant Relatives, what the F are you waiting for? It's simply RAD!
Front to back, it's a sweet blend of Jamaican Reggae and American Rap that mixed perfectly to create this awesome album. The mix of hip-hop beats and reggae grooves are a total sonic success.
The packaging is also quite nice... another reason to still buy hard copies of your favorite albums rather than buying it online or (please no!) downloading it for "free".
